Muck Fest is PYRO's biggest club launch of the year. Last year it was the launch that I did my level 3 certification flight. This year I will be launching Positive Ascent on an L2375 White Thunder motor. It is a 4 grain 75 mm motor with 4878 Newton seconds of total impulse. This puts it at about a 91% of a full L. It will definitely be the most aggressive motor I've flown yet, with 629 pounds of peak thrust and only a 2 second burn time.
The result?
Positive Ascent will go from 0 to 670 mph in 2 seconds, pulling about 18 G's. Maximum altitude will be about 7500 feet.
